Visitors to our daylily gardens are amazed at the colors, forms, and features of the modern daylilies being grown at Merrymeeting Daylilies and Merrymeeting Gardens. Reblooming daylilies, fragrant daylilies, miniature and very tall daylilies, doubles and spider forms and multi-colored flowers are all available in this nearly-indestructible, fast-growing, carefree favorite garden plant.
For 2009 Merrymeeting Daylilies has also inter-planted several hundred Oriental and trumpet lilies for beauty, fragrance and variety and have increased our selection of companion plants.
The images here were collected from our garden as well as the internet, and are intended to assist you. Please keep in mind that no two blossoms may be exactly alike. Variables such as weather, health, and size of a plant will strongly effect a blossom! Also, we have found that many evergreen daylilies need extra protection in northern climates. Evergreens that do not do well in our gardens are quickly removed from our inventory!
